Rev. John Ferrie, Jr.
Board Member
Rev. John J. Ferrie, Jr. is the transition pastor at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Fulton, NY. He previously served at churches in Fayetteville and Eggertsville, NY, and taught theology at St. Mary’s College in Winona, MN.
A graduate of Dartmouth, Yale Divinity, and Catholic University, he shares his expertise in history and theology, with a focus on the Book of Isaiah and American religious movements. A board member since 2011, he provides valuable insight for our faith-based initiatives.

Donghoo Sohn, Esq.
Legal Advisor
Donghoo is a legal advisor of Riina Education for Innovation, Inc. He is currently an attorney at Scolaro, Fetter, Grizanti & McGough, P.C. and represents buyers, sellers, developers, and lending institutions in all aspects of residential and commercial real estate. He counsels clients in wide range of areas of real property issues including foreclosure, eviction, boundary dispute, navigable/non-navigable water way litigation and adverse possession cases.
Donghoo values the importance of charities and foundations so he helps local not-for-profit corporations by providing legal consulting. Donghoo advises clients for the sale, lease and mortgage of real property owned by religious group and participates himself as a board member of not-for-profit corporations in New York State.

Ronald Walter
Treasurer
Ron Walter is the Executive Director of Syracuse MetroNet, Inc., a consortium using advanced telecommunications to enhance economic opportunity and quality of life in Central New York.
He holds a B.S. from Syracuse University and an MBA in Marketing from Michigan State University. He also works as a Tax Consultant for CNY Tax Experts and previously served as Marketing Director for the United Way of Central New York.
As Treasurer, Ron applies his expertise in computer hardware and software to support digital education.
